Free to Dry
Free to Dry was a movement fighting back against the banning of clotheslines in residential areas. We were asked to create a wall for an exhibit, summarizing the movement while making an artist's statement as well. By montaging a pirate ship and the laundry line, I turned the clothesline into an icon of freedom while poking fun at the fact people who had one were now considered criminals.
