Julia Valeria Lopez

Hi there, thank you for visiting my portfolio.

I will introduce myself first, I’m an enthusiastic Mexican who began the journey by studying Engineering in Interactive Technology and Digital Animation, originally dreaming of becoming a 3D Animator for Pixar. Along the way, my passion evolved as I discovered a love for coding. Over time, I explored how code could bring games, simulators, apps, webpages and more to life, which led me to focus on front-end development. One of my career highlights was developing a Forklift Simulator, where I truly fell in love with the user-centered approach. This passion drove me to pursue my double degree master in Human Computer Interaction, opening up a whole new world— a fresh perspective on how to design, create and iterate products. While I’ve continued working as a software developer, I’ve always embraced design, and now I’m transitioning fully into Product Design, a role I’ve been passionate about alongside my development work.

The little Julia on her first day of college could never have imagined how this journey would unfold, but I know she’d be incredibly proud of the person I am becoming.
