The beginning of a rendering of ACK
This is a project that we did for Studio II.
It was our introduction to systems furniture.
Project done in Studio III. We worked in teams of 2 but I tried to just show the work that I did (besides a couple perspectives and the detail drawing of the bar). We did the concept and planning together and then split up the workload but kept in good communication.
The restaurant is called DEO and is split up into five different areas. Using interior furnishings, finishes and ambiance, we designed each space to represent a different landscape. Then we harmonized the contrasting landscapes by placing each one in a white box with a rounded front. It gives guests a futuristic feel as they approach the different environments we created, and the large scale adds to the drama of the experience. It captures the excitement of travel (as if in a snap shot) and gives guests options to choose from for different experiences.
Project done in Studio IV. We worked in teams of 5 but most of the work shown is mine (besides a couple perspectives). Concept/Planning was done by everyone. Then we split up the different areas to work on by ourselves, with weekly review sessions by the whole group.
