Design For Need
The brief was simple; design a product to overcome a specific need. This was my third individual project set during my first year of university. Before I chose a market sector I chose an issue – waste at festivals. After attending a handful of festivals myself leading up to the start of university, I noticed a lot of issues which were quite concerning and needed to be addressed. Not only did I notice the shear amount of tents and other products that were left behind but I felt I could incorporate other issues that I had encountered and felt needed to be resolved.
