To design and model a garden trailer which could also be towed by a ride-on lawnmower or something similar. The final design must be able to manufactured in a basic workshop (No CNC machining).
My final design incorporates a few key features, a foot-pedal release which allows the trailer bed to tip about its axle, allowing for easier emptying without using your hands. The pin should then self-lock when the bed is raised back into position.
A tool holder allowing the user to mount hand tools and gardening equipment when moving about the garden.
A retractable tow bar so that the user will be less likely to injure them-selves when pushing the trailer by hand.
The body is made from a single piece of folded steel allowing for a simple manufacturing process with few joining procedures needed.
