Craft Research and Documentation on Stone Carving at Khukhari, Gaya.
The project was a group project, and required us to explore the craft of stone carving, practised at Khukhari in Gaya,Bihar. The artisans are mainly involved in producing idols of Buddha and other Hindu gods and goddesses.
In order to promote the craft, we developed a range of packaging material which depicts the story of stone carving at Khukhari in the form of a comic strip. The products made were - gift wrapping sheets, carry bags and gift boxes.
