Inspiration and reference imagery for the rapper Curren$y's '64 Chevy Impala.
Taillight reference imagery. The top middle taillight was the main reference for lighting. The bottom two Chevy lights are what is on Curren$y's Impala.
The initial draft of the taillights when only silver foil was to be used for the chrome areas.
100% vector graphic created as a base for the taillights. It was important to be as accurate to the original '64 Impala before adding the Reebok aesthetic.
Taillights after the Reebok Vector was added and taillights were placed on the box.
3D render created in Photoshop used to show marketing and Curren$y's team for approval.
3D render in front of Curren$y's Impala I put together to better sell the look of the final box.
Box tech pack with cut and fold lines faded to better show the artwork. All the chrome pieces I created in Illustrator and were printed over foil for greater depth. Taillights were also printed with the same treatment.
This image is comprised of vector graphics. No bitmap imagery was used in the final file sent to the printers. The green gradient was later swapped with a metallic green foil to better match Curren$y's '64 Impala.
Promo shot of the shoes. Color & materials by my director.
The final produced box. You can see the 3rd taillight on the tucked in panel once it is flipped out.

Curren$y Impala Shoe Box Graphics

I created the vector graphics for all the chrome pieces, taillights, and the green and blue painted areas. The green paint was later changed to green foil.
