HD of NY - NYC Skyline - This was a custom designed for the new Harley shop in the JFK airport. They needed something that would stand out from the usual black shirts that Harley has and really loved this design.
It would be printed on a brown shirt so the design would blend and fade in. There's also some glitter at the top for the shield and the text pop.
One Road - The #1 is a well known Harley Logo. To take a different approach I isolated different parts in Illustrator, then brought it into Photoshop to recolor. I created the "road" from scratch in Photoshop.
70's Slant - This is a custom font inspired by 70s rock band record albums.

Abernathy's HD Tank Custom - This design was created specifically for this HD Dealership. I created the Chrome text and the art in Illustrator. Then I brought it in to Photoshop to create the Tank outline and painted in the highlights and glow.
Black Widow HD Hourglass Custom - This Dealership had done many different variations on the spider theme already so we needed to come up with something unique to make an impact. The idea here is that instead of just showing a spider on the shirt, this would turn the bikers into a Black Widow with their own red hourglass on their backs.
Electric Eagle - This design was created in photoshop. The text was inspired by the logo for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I take inspiration for a wide variety of places.
Flying Engine - Colored and Created in Photoshop
Burst - This design had more of a skater feel to it. It doesn't exactly speak to your standard Harley rider but I liked the way it came out.
Big Island HD Lei Custom - The center element was created in Illustrator before bringing into Photoshop to add the text and painting the island.
Sparks - A little bit of an Iron Man feel in this one.
I was inspired by a design that used a very limited color palate and decided to use that idea as a starting point. I just started messing around in Photoshop and I really like the way it turned out.
Retro Holiday Card - I was asked to design a company holiday card. I really like the feeling that the old 40's and 50's holiday cards have and wanted to try and capture that here.
Filagree Storm - Front Print - The text was created in Illustrator and inspired by old french wine posters and Allman Brothers album art. For the background, I tried to capture the feeling of the ornate elements added to the sides of old buildings and wrought iron fences.
Filagree Storm - Sleeve Prints - These are the sleeve prints. I thought it would look cool to make it look like the leaves were blowing off. Now, when the biker is riding and has her arms on the handlebars, it'll look like the design is blowing in the wind.

Metal Willie - The Metal Skull was created by another artist that I work with, but we never found a way to use it in any designs. I added the rest of the background elements and colored it in Photoshop. I love how it has a feeling of power or maybe black magic, like it was used in a voodoo ritual...
Sturgis Stone Skull Custom - I created this design for the 71st Sturgis Bike Rally. I really enjoyed adding all the small details to the stone circle and text to give it that worn, carved rock feeling.
Tombstone HD Sherffi's Badge Custom - The dealer at Tombstone HD sent me an image of an old Sheriff's badge. They really liked the weathered look that it had and wanted me to incorporate it into a new design for them.
I created a blank badge in Illustrator with basic lighting and 3D shading. I then brought it into Photoshop to add the color and texture, as well as painting in the cracks and weathered details.
World Chocolate - I love the way the cream color works on the chocolate background.

Screw It Moon - Riding at night is dangerous, especially with the smoky moon and spooky text everywhere.
Jim's HD Custom - I wanted to capture the colors of a Pool Hall. The green of the Pool Tables and the red of the lampshades...

Sturgis Chrome Eagle - The Eagle here was part of a catalog design from 2009. I reworked the colors and created some rugged metal text to make this design.
Sturgis Dirty Tank - This design started out fairly boring. Just a straightforward text and engine part deal. It didn't really start to get interesting until I started to dirty things up.
Stoned - There is a lot of 70's flare in here. I was on a Sesame Street "Counting Pinball Machine" kick.
Chunky River HD Saber Flag Custom - Chunky River wanted to invoke the spirit of the south and reference the Civil War. The text was fashioned using reference and photos of old Civil War medals and badges and I used a Civil War General's Saber to hold up the Mississippi Flag.
Buckeye HD Wright Bros Custom - This was a fun project to work on. I got the opportunity to do a lot of research on the Wright Bros and browse through the national archives of to see all of their old photos. The dealer really loved all of the little details like the original blueprints in the background and the "1903 stamp" fashioned to look like the stamp used on the first piece of Air Mail.
