Client requested a brand new brochure using elements from her original one designed in Microsoft Word.
For a document of this type, Adobe InDesign was used. Client had a existing business card so the colors used on that card were used in this brochure to create consistency and brand that did not exist at that time.
When designing the document, I had to keep in mind that this would be printed through consumer based methods (home printer and consumer print shops) so borders were kept within those standards.
Design was kept simple giving a gentle feeling with curved edges and using blue as the common header text color. The type style also followed this theme with a bold, round font.
I also assisted in reviewing the copy the client wrote and offered suggestions in how they phrased specific sections to her audience.
