The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce wanted to advertise on the back cover of one of our major publications but the sale was not complete.
The sales representative wanted to make sure the client was impressed and requested me specifically to design the ad for the client.
The client was very specific in wanting to advertise their Food, Wine & Brew Fest, the Palmeras restaurant, and Lily's Cakes for being featured on the Food Network. They also wanted to use the slogan "Eat. Play. Stay. Discover Harker Heights".
With this information, I began to research themes that the Chamber used to adapt into my design. I also browsed their Facebook and Twitter accounts to find photography I could use for what was requested.
With the materials gathered, I was able to show the busy shopping district of Harker Heights, use the festival logo as a divider for the other content, a collage of photos, and making sure Lily's Cakes and Palmeras stood out with my own addition of copy.
