The Thermocharger - Domestic Waste Heat Energy Harvester and Storage Device
The Thermocharger is an energy harvesting and storage device for use with personal hand-held devices or any other USB-powered device.
It consists of two parts - a master Central Tower unit and a slave TEG module unit. The TEG module harvests electrical energy by converting waste heat energy that is emitted by appliances around the home. This energy is then transferred wirelessly to the Central Tower for storage. A USB cable can then be plugged in to charge a mobile phone, tablet or any other USB-powered device.
