Grand Pro Runner Stitchlite
For a recent brief while working for Cole Haan I was tasked with developing an engineered one piece knit as a spring update on our existing grand pro runner tooling.
I blended textures as well as color blocking and heathering effects to give the upper dimensionality, breathability and support zonally where needed. For color combinations I played with wearable core options, infusing heathering as an athletic approach to speak more to the comfort and breathability that makes the runner unique. Pre twisting yarns and playing with the dominant color I was able to capture the classic blocking of a running silhouette while juxtaposing the modernity of the knit construction.
