Zibits are a line of mini remote controlled robots that we developed in-house at Senario. We designed over 50 different robots and later expanded into playsets. I was personally responsible for the branding and the majority of the packaging, about a third of the robots designs, product photography and almost all the print and web media. The packaging had to communicate that these were robots from an alien planet that were in constant motion, so I went with metal pieces, gears and energy bolts. It was a lot of fun to work on and I'm really proud of how the whole project turned out.
Arch Alienz were a spin-off line from Zibits, and consisted of 24 different 1/3" tall alien creatures. I developed most of the creatures, and designed the branding and packaging. The branding had to reference the Zibits master line, but give a more organic and sinister feel, as they were the creepy arch-enemies of the Zibits.
