This helm caught my sister's eye at a local HomeGoods but she wasn't fully content with the splotches of black paint on it. I felt the black wasn't carefully placed and distracting actually. So we used very rough sand paper and removed those areas and felt very happy with the finished look because it looked like a genuine antique!
