Comfert Arms
Watching my Grandmother uncomfortably hoisted in the air by a traditional Hoyer lift often made me think there has got to be a better way of transporting bedridden people. The comfort Arms not only keeps patients safe but uses new technologies to make it an easier experience. The Comfort Arms Bariatric lift is operated with a built-in touch screen.. This screen will have the ability to control the arms together or one at a time. In order to lift the person with the arms they will be in a specialized cushioned chair that will support there back and legs. The chair can recline if the user chooses so. The lift itself will have a built in automation system to drive itself to patience rooms with out an operator. This will save time for nurses and the patience. The lift will also be programed to put its self back when its shift is over. The lift will have a built in storage compartment on top for nurses to store medications or medical supplies.
