There's a certain space game we all know of, that does not appear to be releasing anytime soon, and has been around for quite a while. It was quite buggy, and has seen progress very slowly. It had inspired me to see what exactly it took to reproduce the simple mechanics it had, which were so so buggy. I had found that the simple mechanics were in fact simple, and very easy to make reliable even under networking conditions.
This was tons of fun to make. I had even managed to reproduce the infinity of space! The infinity of space was only under single player conditions, but I had done it regardless. I eventually had a moon and planet you could fly to, from millions of miles away. One thing I felt was missing from many space flight simulators, were meaningful immersive ship information for landing. So I had done the obvious thing, and had built a landing camera. There's no reason a futuristic pilot of a space craft wouldn't have visual aids for landing safely, so I had bridged that gap myself.
