Movement shooters are a lot of fun, but even so, they are lackingly embraced when it comes to grounded gameplay. Where this is made up for, is with sliding. Here I had attempted to replicate the fun of sliding, but by enhancing its effectiveness. Footage does not do it justice, but it is most incredibly fun to play with.
The sliding mechanic works by taking the angle of the floor below you, your direction of momentum, and a few other sneaky inputs. All to decide when sliding should give you an applied speed increase. Here, timing slides off ledges just right, or carelessly sliding down slopes, will grant a thrilling boost to your speed.
