EVT Electric Bicycles
In order to welcome new members to the club, the team officers and I decided to create a freshman and new member project. The objective was to have a project that does not require a vast amount of technical skill, but would serve as an introduction for those who are unfamiliar with electric vehicle technologies. The project was to create electric bicycles. 2 bicycle are being converted into E-bikes. The team purchased conversion kits and let the new members work on these projects with minimal intervention from the senior members. One electric bicycle has been completed and tested. 26 mph was the top speed recorded during preliminary testing.
