Miami Valley Pit Crew asked for their name to be worked into a drawing of a friendly looking pit-bull with a sugar skull theme. The tire collar and the speedway flags are a part of their logo. To keep cost down, I created the vector to be in one color. The t-shirts printed were used to raise funds for their organization.
At Ertel Publishing, we were starting up a CafePress site to sell t-shirts without having to spend money in inventory. We needed a few new designs to place in the store, and I decided I should have a vector design that was similar to the Vintage Truck magazine's "Keep on Truckin'" circle design.
