Sweet Mariachi's Death
Concept of a wooden pack for a traditional Mexican sugar or chocolate skull. It is formed by a small boxed shaped as a “Mariachi’s” head. When the package is opened to retrieve the candy, it makes the illusion that the skull is coming out of his head.
The piece has a locking mechanism at the bottom, while on the top the lock mechanism is formed by putting the hair of the Mariachi into the hat.
The project is intended to be re-used after its first use and was created for the British contest “Pentawards”.
