CAD - Handheld Circular Power Saw

Working to a brief that was set to redesign everyday power tools used in trade or at home I chose a challenging and complex handheld circular saw.

The brief was to improve existing designs by adding unique functions that would improve the users experience with the tool.

I chose to integrate safety features such as:
Blade height adjust ability to reduce initial kickback.
A spring loaded rolling guard that would cover the blade when not in contact with the material.
A vacuum that would remove dangerous dusts and swarf that the user may inhale/come in contact with.
A tilt-able blade for chamfered and angled cuts.
