A group project for Installation and Public Art. A consensus had to be reached in regards to subject matter. Eventually we settled on a thematic timeline. The windows were fitted with silhouettes of styles of dress to represent iconic cultural aspects of the last sixty years. The bulletin boards in the center and the strings between them were decorated with movie posters, album covers, TV shows, and video games to represent the media focus during different years. Finally, the back wall was covered with a thirty foot wide collage of major events of conflict over the same time frame.
I ended up taking a leadership role with this project as it was difficult to organize a dozen different students into working for a single vision.
