Storage stool
Watching the Detectives - This piece was an assignment wherein we were to use a specific memory to develop a sculpture, or piece of furniture. My memory involved staying at my grandmother's house and watching detective show re-runs on TV. The exterior of the stool is representative of my grandmother's house, with green tweed upholstery and parquet. Inside, I created a wallpaper of my favorite TV detectives of the time: Jim Rockford, Simon + Simon, and Magnum PI among others.
