The throne room of Henry V, in the middle of an air raided city...
At the battle of Agincourt, Henry delivers his epic speech standing on a anti-aircraft searchlight. The "heavy cavalry" listens in amazement as the rolling cannons enter the stage...
The final scene... Henry and the Princess of France dine and flirt on a table stuffed with the corpses of the fallen in battle... ;)
Basic look of the set...Sketchup, yey!

Henry V

Henry V was my way to overkill the Rose Brand Scholarship competition. After being selected as a finalist, i had to write an essay on how would I design one play of a short list. Henry V was my imediate choice because I wanted to challenge myself to work on an epic scale for an epic theatre (The NY Met Opera House).

So instead of just writing my essay, I designed the whole project in one week, starting almost from scratch on Sketchup (I made some doodles, though), and wrote my 600 words essay on my inspirations of the projects and the whole process of design.

Although I didn't win the scholarship, I'm really proud of this project and what I had a chance to accomplish with it afterwards...

So, go Henry! LOL
