Product Design College Projects

Between August 2006 and May 2009, I completed a 3-year Industrial Design technical programme at Cegep du Vieux Montreal. I worked on a wide variety of projects which had to be developed from the initial idea up to a production-ready CAD model. The main priority for all projects was to come with a technically producible proposal while also thinking about ergonomics, aesthetics, functionality and other criteria like brand identity, sustainability, etc.

My final semester project was the design of an ergonomic TV remote control. I surveyed many age groups to develop an easy-to-use concept that also looks different from existing models. During my second-to-last semester, I worked on a pair of budget computer speakers and a rotomoulded ride-in car for toddlers. All final CAD models included drafts angles, parting lines, standard wall thickness, ribs, etc.
