Melancholy Friends - This was an idependent study where I took all those skecthes you do just to keep yourself busy and turned them into a seires of character toys.
couple Chair - The project was to design a chair, so I tried to explore the interaction between people in a social enviroment, then desing a set of chairs to compliment and encourage the experence.
Floor Lamp - The objective of this project was to design and construct a freestanding lamp that uses low voltage halogen lamps. My solution was to use the high intensity output of the lamps to create a visually interesting cast of shadow and light on the lamp
Museum Roboic Display - This was a collaborative project with the mechanical engineering department where we where to conceptualize and build a robotic display for the Rochester Museum and Science Center.
Adobe Timer - This project was to redesign a mechanical kitchen timer and solve some of its problems. The final design uses the mechanical mechanism to solve the problem of seeing how much time is left from any sort of distance (3' or more).
