University of Miami Pedestrian Bridge
This bridge spans over South Dixie Highway and connects Metrorail’s University Station and the redesigned Mariposa Court. The bridge is a simple steel truss clad with steel brackets that shift in angle subtly to create a wave like effect from top to bottom along the length of the bridge. The design and templates for fabrication were generated in Rhino's parametric plug-in Grasshopper facilitating the production of shop drawings and design iterations.
