Power Of Aluminium Award 2014
The Power Of Aluminium Award is a nation wide competition run by the Aluminum Federation (ALFED). The brief for the 2014 award was to create a product that primarily used aluminum extrusion in its manufacturing. My product was a guitar stand and amp that was lightweight, weather resistant and easy to carry.
I was fortunate enough to come runner up with my guitar stand/amp and received £500 and a trophy at a ceremony in the house of lords. This was was a great experience as I was able to speak to industry officials on the application of aluminum in the future.
