4 week master class in association with Two Ten Footwear Foundation and the FN Platform trade show. A true educational internship experience.
"Pensole students are taught to think before they create. A rigorous “learn-by-doing” methodology requires everything from sketching to protoyping to be done by hand. All aspects of footwear design are covered: Biomechanics, proportion, materials and construction, color theory, terminology, consumers and storytelling. An emphasis is placed on professional skills development: Business conduct, time management, personal branding, portfolio development, visual and verbal presentation, networking and interviewing techniques."
