Renovation of a Bungalow (circa 1929) Durham, NC - Renovation of bungalow in an historic district in Durham, NC. Designed, acted as contractor, and physically worked on renovation. After 40 years of deferred maintenance, this house required gutting the interior down to the studs, rewiring, insulation, new plumbing, and adding new central heat and air. The exterior required restoring the existing windows, carefully removing fifty percent of the brick and relaying the original brick.
