Maria: back view - Wedge d'orsey with intricate fan feature at back and plain front as contrast.
Materials include silk and leather as I love working with natural fabrics.
Colours are very feminine pinks and golds.
Evans/Arcadia competition prototype-finalist - My research here was based on 1920s and 30s deco patterns. As a fan of vintage 1920s footwear styles I decided to kep the retro shape and heel height in the shoe. I have alsoincorporated surface texture to the front of the shoe using pintucking.
