Assistive Devices Design for Disabled Bathing Facilities
This thesis is about designing assistive bathing device for Iranian disabled. According to Iranian General Statistics Center, it is estimated that about 10 percent of Iranian Population, meaning 7 millions, suffer from various forms of Disability. The disabled person, whether mental or physical, would have to endure difficult physical, as well as social and cultural problems being emerged from his situation. This thesis is an attempt to apply principles and concepts of industrial design in order to solve or assist parts of ergonomic problems of disabled users during bathing activity.
