BELLE ISLE - The task was to map a neighborhood/area of Detroit in a not-so-typical way throughout the use of tools and hands-on experience. I was lucky enough to have a friend tip me off on a fantastic place called Belle Isle.
For the posters, I took on whimsical illustration styles that I used to show how fun and happy this place is. Each poster takes the tactic of secluding the island from everything around it. This is to emphasis how different it is from the rest of Detroit.
