A fire for Kirsty & Justin - An outdoor fire at Millbrook, near Arrowtown. The inspiration was the chimneys of ruined cottages dotted around the Central Otago landscape. The roofing iron from deserted goldminers huts was taken after WWII and the stone or timber walls just disintegrated over time, just leaving the chimneys as lonely sentinels. The night photo was taken during a light test. The lights were designed to give a spectral glow, rather than the usual concise beams. Builder: T&T Builders Ltd.
