SaySo Case - Project overview: Based on UX research, user tests and our experience, we did a redesign of the site Truvo.com. The goal of this project was to create a local community in Belgium, Ireland and Portugal and reach an audience that was not using Golden Pages before. SaySo.be was launched in Sept. 2010. Role: I was responsible for all UX related aspect of the project (like Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Controlling Copy and Testing of the site). More info: Sayso.be (Truvo)

SaySo - HP - On SaySo we want people to review their favorite places in town. To make the community aspect clear and convince people to register, we show a short movie to explain the concept & main features. This space can also be used to announce new features/competitions. To illustrate the community aspect we have the following modules on the HP: (1) the activity stream, (2) two latest reviews in that location and (3) upcoming events (which can be replaced by offers if we have them).

SaySo - City Page - The local aspect of this community is visualized on the city page. On this page users get an overview of the best places in that town (based on UGC), events that take place there and much more. The goal of this page is twofold: (1) share UGC of that location and (2) convince users to become a member and/or inspire members to get to know new places in town.

SaySo - place page - logged in - On a place page you get the place details next to some UGC (reviews, pics, etc.). Everybody can see this UGC, but to participate you must be logged in.

SaySo - feedback page after writing a review - The goal of this page is twofold. We want to give the user feedback that he successfully added his review and try to stimulate him to add more content or discover/review other places.
