Environmentally improved lightbulb. - Domestic energy saving lights waste many electronic parts in the ballast when disposed of. This design aims to reduce this by using modular construction where the bulb can be changed independent of the ballast. This reduces electronic waste for enhanced WEEE directive compliance. the unit also takes up less space than current models, improving the aesthetics and adding customer appeal.
