3D printed injection moldable hand held thermometer
This project is meant to challenge the student to make something that can be 3D printed without any additional supports. Along with this the part had to be able to be injection molded. The goal of the project is to have all of the electrical components held in place without any purchased parts. This was also a colaborative project in which the design engineers worked with the electrical engineers that are designing the thermometer electronics. The rules allowed for one prototype print to be done prior to printing the full case. Pictures of the prototype print can be seen in the provided pictures. Then small changes were made based off of the prototype before the final print. This project ended up being very interesting and really made me use a lot of my skills to get the best results possible.
