The Constellation Cup is a concept I visualized for a 7-a-side football competition to be streamed live featuring ex-pro players, social media stars and players from youth academies. For this project I intended to create a unique and eye-catching brand identity for a the theoretical competition and create a consistent atmosphere through the selection of imagery and use of colour. I decided it is going to be a 7-a-side league style cup so that the games are much more fast paced and exciting as the main priority is to be as entertaining as possible with action throughout. With this cup being streamed online rather than broadcasted on television channels, the aim is to capitalise on the rise in viewership on live video mediums. This is proven to be a successful concept through Gerrard Pique’s King's League a Spanish seven-a-side football league with a number of notable football personalities and Internet streamers featuring in matches.
