Merlion Park (Invocation of location and population)
Create a series of images that explore your findings. These images can be in any medium and could be reportage that highlights a problem or questions accepted ideas or you could take a more eliptical approach that explores the space and what happens in it in a more abstract or mysterious way.
Therefore, working with christopher, we chose the Merlion Park. Reason being was that although it is named a national icon site due to the merlion, no locals can be seen there (well almost to none). We noticed that the state in which the people there treated the Merlion as a joke with funny poses. Therefore, we created a newspaper mock up to address on the amount of ridiculousness we experience
