Create a product inspired by an animal’s defense mechanism or movement, otherwise known as bio-mimicry. In designing a line of elbow pads, I chose the armadillo for its unique and one of a kind defense, its outer plating. The armadillo uses this flexible plating by rolling into a ball to protect itself from larger prey and from Mother Nature.
