…Polycarbonate is a versatile, tough plastic used for variety of applications, form bulletproof windows to compact discs. The main advantage of polycarbonate over other plastic is unbeatable strength combined with lightweight. In this workshop, students will be challenged to identify new product opportunities for the use of polycarbonates and translate these opportunities into design concepts and idea. Though the versatility of its application is broad, our focus will be on the theme of safety.
