A special section cover called "For Your Health". A look at health care reform - One year later. Produced by the Issaquah Press.

Cover design for the Redmond Residents' Guide. All images were taken in the Redmond community by various photographers and reporters. With a year round shelf life, images from all four seasons were incorporated to keep the guide current. Two requests were made by the city. One, include a picture of the mayor and two work the City of Redmond centennial logo in to the cover. Both were accomplished and the City of Redmond office was very pleased with the outcome.

Cover design for a newly created "Health and Wellness Reference Guide insert. I was a bit concerned with how this project started. My supervisor wanted a cover with a yoga instructor initially to give the "Health" feeling but there were no stories/articles related to yoga, in this edition! I was able to convince the Publisher and Editor that this was the solution. The cover image selected was slightly under resolution but I was able to make it work with a trick I picked up from an Adobe Users Group meeting I attended.

"RACE FOR A TRIP TO SPACE" I created the background art for the story. The planet was a stock image while the image of space was rendered in Photoshop using a smoke image.
