UT Gets Consent is the follow-up poster campaign promoting consent at The University of Texas at Austin. Based on research on the first set of posters, No One's Asking For It, we found through qualitative survey results that some students were waiting for a verbal "no" to indicate a lack of consent. These posters disrupt this gross misinterpretation of consent to sexual activity by highlighting other ways we communicate our lack of interest and desire whether through circumstance (wasted) or lack of communication (silence). This project was done in collaboration with UT student organizers. All models were intentionally selected campus leaders.
