La Vida fue un Carnaval
This project was built in remembrance of the late Cuban artist, Celia Cruz. Here, Cruz is seen in heaven on a Havana beach in one of her most famous dresses. This piece was entitled "La Vida fue un Carnaval" in honor on her most famous song "La Vida es un Carnaval". In changing "es" to "fue" this signifies that she has, unfortunately, passed but never forgotten. This piece was created in photoshop, including both drawn and photographic elements to make this work of art as real and as beautiful as Celia Cruz was in life.
