Re-Presentation: Sustainably Designing the Self
Fashion is political, social, physiological, psychological, and of course, personal. Our clothing, although intensely visual, is our most intimate way of presenting ourselves. Our interaction with fashion fulfills our need to express our culture, our opinion, and our identity.
As we interact with fashion we create a visual narrative for our lives. Some garments grow with us, while others only represent a moment. Regardless of the duration, our engagement with fashion satisfies our need to visually present our identity and determines how we face the world with it.
The garments in this collection were designed in mind of brevity (Closed Loop Manufacturing) and longevity (Biodegradability). Their style lines and material components were chosen to highlight how we wear and wear in our clothing.
