The overall form of "Hurt" is derived from one's fragmented self after being hurt. Each part has the form of the Chinese Character, ?- Human, on one side and the mirrored character, ?- Enter, on another. The Inside of the PVC Pipe is matte black to symbolize sadness and the whole work symbolizes "Enter into the human emotional state".
The finalized stage of Hurt is reached from my design and thinking process. The different parts can be easily produced and packed. These parts also have the interactive aspect to allow users to make their D.I.Y stationary holder. The different sizes of parts are designed according to the dimensions of different stationery and items like hand phones, brushes and others.
