Contrast Study: Lamps
These two lamps embody a complementary relationship through contrast in form, color, and material. Dichotomies of maximalism and minimalism; black and white; volume and line; symmetry and asymmetry make the lamps a balanced pair. I developed my technical skills through both familiar materials, such as wood, and new elements, such as plastic, electronic, and laser cut components.
