This newsstand is part of the YBR design range, integrated and designed with the same original philosophy of the project, and share some common elements. The axix of this proyect is the same central post 3500mm height version, made in cast iron and painted with anti-oxidant phosphatizing primer and black forge Oxiron paint. This poster becomes the central and essential part of the project, because will be joining various pieces to this poster to build the kiosk. The interesting thing about this design is that it provides the possibility to evolve and grow as the kiosk needed. I don't understand modularity as a sum of parts, I understand as the ability of the object to suit the needs of the city.
A frame made of aluminum profiles is attached to this central post. These in turn will stay for a few panels that can be fixed, or function as doors. In its outer face there are three 58W fluorescent tubes, a perspex sheets with movable poster supports and a door with dealing system and toughened glass. And in it inside face can accommodate shelves, cabinets, etc ... depending on the needs of the newsstand. On the floor is placed a structure with levelers. On this structure rests the floor of the kiosk and the counter. The remaining pieces are anchored to the frames; the light box, the trim and the doors.
The external doors in turn are composed of two parts, a sliding door and a hinge one. The latter also has a counter to place ploduct, sealed by two transparent polycarbonate panels. The roof shares the same philosophy of modularity, composed of several modules anchored to the poster, and being able to install with different finishes; unbreakable reinforced polyester roofing, dobble layer of polyester reinforced in the middle with fibreglass, cast in aluminium paintedwith oven-dried polyester powder coating in metal green color, or or eco-resin panels with encapsulated organic materials, inorganic materials, solar panels, etc...

By sharing the same centerfold, can anchor differents parts of differents projects; a mupi, signage, information panels, etc...
