The Dee connector by made-evident is a freeform construction technique which utilizes a modular connector to create sturdy structures from standard M10 threaded rod. The Dee connector allows intercepting lengths to join at a variety of angles to create architecturally brutal, yet simple forms which can adapt to many applications.
The DeeDesk takes the connector and creates a full size computer desk from less then a quarter of a sheet of ply. The beauty of the configuration allows makers to not be limited by router bed size or excessive material cost and create something big, from something small.
Currently in the prototyping phase, we are refining manufacturing and simplifying the design to allow rapid and easy construction and final assembly.
