Mediation
Mediation - The goal was to create a cabinet. I started with the old meter socket cover plate. And the piece slowly evolved around it. The back blank on this wall hanging cabinet is Indian Rose wood. The drawer’s casework is Hard Maple. The shelf is 12 gage raw steal. This was my take on the mediation between raw and new, and woods as well as metals.
